The Junior World Diving Championships concluded in Rio de Janeiro 🇧🇷, where Ukraine’s junior diving team achieved outstanding success, winning the largest number of medals among all participating teams – 9 in total!
Over eight days of competition, Ukrainian athletes secured 2 gold, 2 silver, and 5 bronze medals, earning them third place in the overall team standings.
The championship featured athletes aged 14 to 18 from 42 countries, but only divers from 13 nations managed to reach the podium.
The President of the Ukrainian Federations of Diving and Synchronized Swimming, Ihor Lysov, congratulated the young athletes and their coaches on this remarkable achievement:
“You have once again shown your strength, determination to fight until the end, and inspired all of Ukraine with your victories. I am proud of every one of you!”
