In the 1m springboard final at the European Championships in Antalya, Danylo scored 390.55 points.

The last time Ukrainians reached the podium in this discipline was six years ago — when Oleg Kolodiy claimed silver at the home European Championships in Kyiv in 2019.

Another Ukrainian athlete in the final, Bohdan Chyzhovskyi, delivered a strong performance in the evening session and finished in a respectable sixth place with a score of 369.25 points.

In the final, the Ukrainian pair scored a total of 308.34 points, finishing 9.6 points ahead of their closest rivals from Italy. The German duo took third place.

Kseniia is an experienced athlete in this discipline. Back in 2021, she claimed gold for Team Ukraine alongside Oleksii Sereda. In 2023, she repeated this success with Kirill Boliukh. Last year, Bailo partnered with European Championship debutant Marko Barsukov and won bronze in mixed synchro platform diving.

In the final, our athlete scored an impressive 468.65 points and claimed his third individual European gold medal!

Overall, the 19-year-old Ukrainian has now won 10 medals at the European Championships — 7🥇gold and 3🥈silver.

The girls are writing a new chapter in the history of Ukrainian diving!

Debuting at the continental championships, Kseniia and Diana stepped onto the podium of senior international competition for the first time. They scored 276.84 points for their performance. As a reminder, the duo are reigning junior world champions — and now their collection includes a senior-level gold medal.

It’s been 26 years since Ukraine last won gold in women’s 3m synchro springboard. The previous time our athletes topped the podium was back in 1999, when Olena Zhupina and Hanna Sorokina claimed the gold medals.

The European Championships, which kicked off today in Antalya, Türkiye, began brilliantly for Team Ukraine — with a gold medal!

In the Mixed Team event, Ukraine was represented by Kseniia Bailo, Kirill Boliukh, Sofiia Lyskun, and Oleksii Sereda — and this very quartet climbed to the top of the podium.

The Ukrainian team scored a total of 407.20 points and continued their medal-winning tradition in this event since 2022, never missing a podium.
