The girls are writing a new chapter in the history of Ukrainian diving!
Debuting at the continental championships, Kseniia and Diana stepped onto the podium of senior international competition for the first time. They scored 276.84 points for their performance. As a reminder, the duo are reigning junior world champions — and now their collection includes a senior-level gold medal.
It’s been 26 years since Ukraine last won gold in women’s 3m synchro springboard. The previous time our athletes topped the podium was back in 1999, when Olena Zhupina and Hanna Sorokina claimed the gold medals.
President of the Ukrainian Diving and Artistic Swimming Federations, Igor Lysov, congratulated the girls and the coaching staff on their brilliant performance and wished them to continue their fight with the same passion and determination!
