Ukraine’s junior diving team has completed a training camp in Mexico as part of their preparations for the Junior World Diving Championships.
The Ukrainian athletes extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Mexican hosts, particularly Melodia Falco Díaz, Director General of the National Institute of Physical Culture and Sport, and Raúl Carrillo, former Director of Medical Affairs at the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Mexico, for providing excellent training conditions and for their attention to the team’s leisure and educational development.
During the camp, the team had the opportunity to explore the picturesque city of Monterrey, discovering its cultural and historical landmarks. One of the highlights was a visit to the Museum of Mexican History, where athletes and coaches admired an extensive exhibition spanning ancient civilizations to modern times.
The final touch to their stay was a delightful surprise – a sweet treat organized for the Ukrainian team. This gesture of hospitality further emphasized the friendly atmosphere of the camp, leaving warm memories of Mexico.
The Ukrainian junior diving team is now on their way to Rio de Janeiro, where the Junior World Diving Championships will kick off on November 24!
