Fantastic Performance by Young Ukrainian Divers at the International Tournament in Germany

The 11th International Ulla Klinger Cup 2024 diving tournament concluded in Aachen, Germany, featuring 117 young athletes from 11 countries competing across age groups A, B, C, and D.

Ukraine’s national team, represented by nine young divers aged 10 to 13 in groups C and D, delivered an extraordinary performance, winning a total of 27 medals: 14 gold, 10 silver, and 3 bronze.

The President of the Ukrainian Federations of Diving and Synchronized Swimming, Igor Lysov, congratulated the athletes and coaches on their outstanding achievement:

“Each of your victories is a source of pride for all of Ukraine, proving that our spirit, perseverance, and dedication can overcome any obstacle.

The 27 medals you have won are the result of your tireless work, determination, and belief in yourselves. Once again, you’ve shown that our nation is a nation of winners, and that young athletes from Ukraine can compete at the highest international level. Your achievements inspire and unite us, giving joy and confidence in the bright future of Ukrainian sports.
